PA Courts Release New Video for Black History Month

In recognition of Black History Month, the Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts (AOPC) has released a short video tribute to the Black jurists who have served on Pennsylvania’s appellate courts.
The video, designed as a historical timeline, highlights the achievements and contributions of these trailblazers, recognizing their role in shaping the state’s judicial system.
“We are proud to shed light on the Black jurists who have made significant contributions to the legal profession and the Unified Judicial System of Pennsylvania,” said Andrea Tuominen, court administrator for the Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts.
“By sharing this video, we hope to inspire future leaders and expand public understanding of the state’s legal history.”
