In recognition of National Women’s History Month, the Pennsylvania Courts today released an infographic looking at the history of women in the Pennsylvania judiciary, as well as those women currently serving.

Presently, 39 percent of Pennsylvania’s active judges are women. On the state’s appellate courts, three of the current six justices on the Supreme Court are women, and a majority of judges serving on both the Superior Court and Commonwealth Court are women. The infographic below highlights data about women judges at all levels of the bench in Pennsylvania. Download a high-resolution version of the graphic.
