Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice David Wecht to Address University of California - Berkeley Law School Jewish Student Association

Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice David Wecht is set to visit the University of California - Berkeley Law School, where he will participate in a special event hosted by the Jewish Student Association at Berkeley Law.

The event, titled "Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice David Wecht – In Conversation with Dean Chemerinsky," will center on discussions related to Justice Wecht's judicial journey, the influence of religion on decision-making, and the evolving religious doctrine within the First Amendment.

"I am honored to join the students and faculty at Berkeley Law School for such an important discussion,” Wecht said. “Connecting with the next generation on these critical legal and constitutional matters affords us the opportunity to share insights and appreciate new perspectives.”

The event, which will be available via livestream is scheduled for Tuesday, October 10th, and the conversation will begin at 1 p.m. PDT (4:00 p.m. EST).

The Jewish Student Association Board shared, “We are so excited to host Justice Wecht at Berkeley, as his contributions to both the law and the Jewish community are immense. We are eager for him to share his perspectives and certain they will enrich campus life and discourse at Berkeley Law School.”
