Common Traffic Violations in Pennsylvania

In recognition of Pennsylvania’s Highway Safety Law Awareness Week (Feb. 20-26), the Pennsylvania Courts today released an infographic highlighting court data that reflects some of the most common traffic violations statewide. In 2020, alleged traffic offenses decreased by 36 percent from the previous year.

The infographic highlights key court data including the total number of alleged offenses for six common traffic violations over the last five years, defendant demographics and the top 10 counties with the highest number of citations. Download a high-resolution version of the graphic.
