Pennsylvania Supreme Court Chief Justice Reflects on the Passing of Former Chief Justice Zappala

Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania Max Baer today released the following statement on the passing of former Chief Justice Stephen Zappala.

Justice Zappala served as a Justice on the Supreme Court from Jan. 1983 to 2002 and as Chief Justice from Jan. 2002 through Jan. 2003.

“The Court has lost a great member and leader in former Chief Justice Zappala. He will be sorely missed by those who worked with him and those who followed him on the Court.”
