General Ethics Guidance

The Pennsylvania Rules of the Judicial Ethics Advisory Board (Pa.R.J.E.A.B.) empowers the Board to issue general ethics advisory guidance (“General Guidance”) on relevant topics.

When a judicial officer complies with General Guidance, such compliance may be taken into account in determining whether discipline should be recommended or imposed. See Pa.R.J.E.A.B. 206 (C).
